Betta World For Bettas is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to improving the welfare of betta fish and animals through education and advocacy. We promote proper betta fish care while addressing harmful products, practices, and misleading guidance from retailers and manufacturers.
Betta fish are among the most popular household pets, but they are often kept in conditions that jeopardize their welfare. There is a common misconception that they are low-maintenance pets that thrive in tiny, unfiltered spaces. In reality, bettas need heated, filtered tanks with ample space to support their health.
